School Counseling
West Haven Elementary School offers a wide variety of counseling services that follow the American School Counseling Association's national model.
Student Referrals
Students can self-refer by filling out an “I want to see the school counselor form” and putting it in the white locked mailbox outside of my office or by filling out the online Student Self-Referral Form.
Caregiver Referrals
Parents/Caregivers can refer by using the Caregiver Referral Form.
Kelsey Corrier
Mrs. Kelsey Corrier is excited to serve as the school counselor at West Haven Elementary this year. She brings eight years of experience in school counseling, including six years in virtual education and recent service at Amherst and Norwood. Before becoming a counselor, she worked in community and residential mental health, which shaped her compassionate and holistic approach to student support. She is passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally, and enjoys using both her professional training and life experience to support the school community.
Outside of school, Mrs. Corrier is a proud mom to two beautiful kids and shares her home with two sweet cats. She’s a big fan of tacos and pizza, and always welcomes a good conversation.

A note from Mrs. Corrier:
I am so happy to be a part of the Wildcat family this year at West Haven. Although this is my first year here, this is my eighth year serving as a school counselor. I am here at West Haven on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays and at another school on Wednesdays and Thursdays. My background is in mental health with experience in community case management and residential care. In 2018 I decided to go back to school and I obtained my Master’s degree from Lincoln Memorial in School Counseling. My passion is helping students understand their emotions and teaching them how they can control them to be able to be successful in school and in life. When I am not at school I love spending time with my 4 year old son, 1 year old daughter, my husband, and our 2 cats. I also love reading and doing crafts!
